Smile, though your heart is aching.
Smile, even though it's breaking.
When there are clouds in the sky you'll get by.
If you smile through your pain and sorrow,
Smile and maybe tomorrow,
You'll see the sun shining through for you.
Light up your face with gladness.
Hide every trace of sadness.
Although a tear may be ever so near,
That's the time you must keep on trying.
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile...if you just smile.
This is my week. Already...and the journey started on a Sunday. In the movie I saw the other night, they kept going on about it being bad luck to start a journey on a Sunday. Oh, dear. Well, then, I guess I must say, "En garde, week!"
Gratitude 170
Monday mornings this semester are very gratefully lazy mornings. Not rushed to leave or go anywhere till after lunch, so I can take my leisurely time getting ready, catching up on neglected or unfinished work, and running errands if need be. :)
Samantha,
ReplyDeleteI am pleased that Mondays are so relaxing for you. besides all of those things you can do in your new free time, you also have more opportunities to post your immensely informative and entertaining blog entries.
