Gratitude 55

I am thankful for the obnoxious Neti pot that my mom bought me for Christmas. (For those of you that have no idea what this is, it is this little tea pot-looking thing that pours a saline solution into one nostril of your nose which comes out the other nostril. Yes, it sounds absolutely disgusting, but I promise you it works and is amazing! No more sinus pressure or congestion from my allergies!!)

Some pretty pictures for your viewing pleasure (all of which are from the Christmas holiday):

Dad giving Mom her gift (a Willow Tree Nativity set) and informing us of the things that were "wrong" that didn't really go with the story and that he knew these things even though he isn't much of a religious guy. That was hilarious!

Our tree and bookshelf all decorated for Christmas by Mom and Becca...yes, the tree has gift cards all over it, and those are Build-a-Bears...my family has a bit of an obsession with them.

  1. Samantha,
I am so glad to finally see, with your own pictures, no less, that your beautiful Christmas was indeed happy and blessed. Your family's Christmas Tree looked spectacular. I did not have a tree this year because my family's house is very small with five people trying to live in it, and this year we are remodeling, so everything is in whatever place we can best fit it, and that happened to be where we usually put the Christmas Tree. I liked the idea of putting gift cards on the tree, but ornaments are still nice. The pictures of your family were a special treat for all of us interested readers. I hope Christmas is just as wonderful for you next year!
    -Tyler.
