Yesterday, I ...

Woke up at 6:30am; baked and decorated cookies and the like; made (and drank 2) various cups of coffee; bathed 5 kids; 2 meals and snack times; watched a Sesame Street episode I am certain I watched when I was 4; settled various meltdowns and disputes (while suppressing my own from actually happening!); made a guitar out of paper for a 3 year old; biked ~2 miles; sent emails about apartments; read bedtime stories; and then had chocolate cake that Barb and Tim brought home from their anniversary dinner. You know, the normal daily life of a soprano, right? ha! I'm just a regular Mary Poppins...or Maria! Oh, goodness!

I think I should have saved that glass of wine I drank the night before for last night! Except that by the time I got home at 10pm, I was ready to just fall over...but of course I couldn't fall asleep till about 12:30am! Ugh.

Work tonight, then meeting up with my friend Carolyn to catch up and give her their wedding gift...from over a month ago.

The rare occasion of eating cake for breakfast...and after sleeping in till 10am!  ;)

Also, I was ordering prints online this morning and found these "old" photos from my first trip abroad when I was 17. (Of course, I was playing around with the originals on Picnik, so they are "revised" versions.)
