I have been reading David's brilliant book whenever I get a moment, and I love this one paragraph in particular because it just epitomizes so many things I have always contemplated:
"It is difficult for an individual to understand how God could know all that has happened and all that ever will happen. This difficulty arises from the fact that man must base his knowledge within the confines of time, but God is outside of time. He created time for us. God knew the consequences of each and every action he took before he ever made a single move. He knew that Lucifer would rebel. He knew that man would fall, and he knew that Christ would die to save his creation." (Simply Put, pg 30)
